INDUSTRIAL HYDRATED LIME
For mining process water treatment & environmental control
DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE
Industrial hydrated lime is produced by hydration of quick lime with some excess of water (to balance excess heat), in which calcium hydroxide crystals grow in expense of the fine CaO powder, resulting in volume increase. The expansion that takes place during hydration is responsible for the “open” structure of HL clusters with many gaps and voids. The lime waste, on the other hand, is formed in aqueous slurry during acetylene production and, then, filter-pressed (and in the present case also dried and crushed).
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Applications such as neutralizing agent in water and sewage treatment, a binder in mortars and renders, soil stabilization and maintaining alkaline conditions for mineral processing.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
In original packing in dry conditions on a pallet. Max: 24 months.
FORM OF DELIVERY
Available as bulk (from silo to the truck directly), bag 20kg - 1 pallet 1200kg or in jumbo bags (one bag 1T)
